Village Fall Festival
Sunday & Monday
August 31 & September 1, 2008
11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Enjoy a fall harvest in pioneer village. Period dressed "friends" of the village demonstrate crafts of the old days and also sell their wares. Some demonstrators include blacksmithing, pottery, quilting, woodworking, dutch oven cooking plus more!
Other activities include:
- Kickapoo Indian Dancer
- Wapsi Wrangler Shoot-Outs
- Volunteers Re-enacting Pioneer Life: Blacksmithing, Pottery, Weaving, Plus More!
- D&J's Petting Zoo & Pony Rides
- Old Fashioned Kids Games & Crafts
- Lots of food including Kettle Corn!
- Walnut Grove Soda Fountain Shop open serving ice cream cones
- Bison Saloon open serving old fashioned sodas
Entertainment throughout the day:
- Demonstrations & musical entertainment scheduled throughout the day.
Admission:
$2.00 Adults
$1.00 Children 5-12 years old
