Begin your summer at our Pioneer Village "Heritage Days". Enjoy period dressed “Friends” of the Village demonstrating folk art and also selling their wares. Some demonstrations include blacksmithing, basket weaving, broommaking, quilting, pioneer cooking, candle-dipping, weaving, plus so much more!
Other Activities Include:
- Wapsi Wrangler Shoot-outs Skits performed hourly
- D&J Petting Zoo & Pony Rides
- Make-It-Take-It Kids Crafts
- Lots of food, sandwiches by the Long Grove Lions & don’t forget the Kettle Corn!
- Bison Saloon will be open serving Sarsaparilla & other Sodas.
- Our working Soda Fountain Shop will be open serving Ice Cream Cones
